'Doc' is the team founder. He is responsible for administration and team operations. He holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and has retired as Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Minnesota State University-Mankato. He served as Director of the Clinical Psychology Program where he trained psychologists in research/clinical practice in Behavioral Medicine. He remains in limited clinical practice at Riverview Clinic in Mankato, MN. He is committed to the educational, personal and social development of players. In addition to his role with the Ice Hawks, he is an active traveler and most importantly a full time grandpa of five.

Nancy manages the team budget and the event staff on game days. Professionally, Nancy holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and is retired from MSU-Mankato as Emeritus Professor of Psychology: She was active in research and training in the areas of child behavior disorders, fetal alcohol syndrome and developmental disabilities. She remains in limited professional practice at Riverview Clinic, Mankato, MN. Her interest in hockey is rooted in her Canadian upbringing. She followed the ‘Original Six’ growing up in Sault Ste. Marie and Toronto Canada. Nancy is proud grandmother of Daytin (9), Kasota (8), Colette (7), Alex (5) and baby Evan (2)..

Doug, originally from Burlington, MA, has been a resident of Rochester since 1998. Doug is familiar with the east coast style of play. His oldest son played at the Junior level and college hockey at U-Mass where he was team captain. Doug has held numerous positions in youth hockey : He served as Vice-president of the Burlington Hockey Association and has coached in both the Burlington as well as the Rochester Youth Hockey Associations. Doug is a Level 3 USAH Coach with experience at the ‘Termite’ to ‘Midget’ levels. He has four children, (Jim, Melissa, Doug Jr., Abby) and a grandson Regan. Doug’s two younger children, Doug Jr. and Abby can be seen running around the Rec Center at Ice Hawks games. He is committed and dedicated to the growth and development of athletes. He looks forward to mentoring Ice Hawks players.

Jeff is the 'Voice of the Ice Hawks', and serves as the Ice Hawks Public Relations manager/ Event Operations. Jeff is an avid hockey fan who hails from Shakopee, MN. He has lived in Rochester for the past nine years. Jeff is a graduate of Brown Institute with a degree in Broadcasting. He has worked for Laser 101.7, Fox Country 102.5, KWEB 1270 and serves as the music director Rochester Honkers Baseball club. Jeff often is seen talking sports with his customers as the manager at the popular home team sports apparel shop, Goldys Lockeroom, in the Apache Mall.

Jim is a native of Rochester and graduated from John Marshall H. S. He obtained a degree in Park and Recreation Administration from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse. He was a multi-sport athlete and played intramural hockey in college. Jim has been in corporate sales and marketing management for over 30 years. He and his family spent 14 years in Mankato and followed the MSU Mavericks as they became a Div. l team. Four years ago they returned to the St. Charles where Jim took a position in Winona with Fastenal Company. Jim and his wife Kathy have three adult children: daughters Angie and Emily and their families recently moved to Mankato and his son just started his second four year tour in the United States Marine Corps. They are also proud grandparents of three, Kabe (10), Clementine (8 mos.) and Max (6 mos.).

Dawn joins the Ice Hawks as Housing Director. Dawn and her family have been a long time host family for the Ice Hawks. She is a Minnesota native having spent her childhood and young adult years in Wanamingo, MN. Dawn moved to Rochester in 1996. Professionally, Dawn works for the Mayo Clinic in the Department of Development. She is married to Van Larson, has a 23 year old stepson, Nick and an 11 year old son, Hunter who is playing at the PeeWee level this year.

Nicky has been with the Ice Hawks since the fall of 1998. She has served in a variety of roles. Currently she works on special projects and community relations. Away from the rink she is employed by Charter Communications in Rochester. Nicky is the mother of three children, Colette, Alex and Evan and is married to Coach Nick Fatis.

Kasey moved to Minnesota to attend school at the University of Minnesota, where she is now a junior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Russian. After completing her undergraduate work, she plans to attend law school. Kasey is originally from Wichita Falls, Texas, where she first fell in love with junior hockey in 2002. With the Ice Hawks, Kasey takes on a variety of duties, including assisting with special events, such as tryout camps and aiding the front office with administrative tasks.
