The Ice Hawks return for their first home game since Sept 30.  They’re on a 3 game win streak and ready to PINK THE RINK!

Join the Journey and the Rochester Ice Hawks host annual Pink the Rink event in support of local breast cancer patients and survivors

Saturday, October 28, 2017—the game begins at 7:05 p.m. at the Rochester Recreation Center (21 Elton Hills Drive, Rochester, MN, 55901).

Come out and cheer for the Rochester Ice Hawks as they take on the Breezy Point North Stars! The game will feature exciting ways to get involved in benefiting breast cancer survivors in our community through local nonprofit, Join the Journey.

Ticket prices: Adult $9, Students/Seniors (65+) $7, Children (10 and under) $5, and Children ages 0-4 are free.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. There will be breast cancer awareness themed Ice Hawks shirts available for purchase, as well as lots of other pink ribbon merchandise.

The Rochester Ice Hawks will be wearing exclusive one-of-a-kind breast cancer awareness jerseys, which will be available for purchase during a silent auction at the game. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle, decorated bras to vote for, a bra pong game and “toy toss” in which toys can be purchased for $1 and tossed onto the rink when the Ice Hawks score their first goal.

Last season, these fundraising efforts raised over $4000 in support of breast cancer survivors—and all while enjoying a great game of hockey!

About Join the Journey

Join the Journey was established in 2005 in Rochester, Minn. Breast cancer survivors Effie Psimos and Patty Allen and close friend Margie Loprinzi wanted to expand their support into the community with hopes of raising more awareness.

Since then, Join the Journey has grown a strong local non-profit organization with a network of wonderful people and programs that uphold the mission of promoting breast cancer awareness and supporting individuals on their breast cancer journey.
