Pink the Rink –Breast Cancer

After three weeks of road games, the Ice Hawks return home for their annual Cancer Fund raiseron Saturday night.

Come out and cheer for the Rochester Ice Hawks as they take on the Breezy Point North Stars! The game will feature exciting ways to get involved in benefiting breast cancer survivors in our community through local nonprofit, Join the Journey.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. There will be breast cancer awareness themed Ice Hawks shirts available for purchase, as well as lots of other pink ribbon merchandise.

The Rochester Ice Hawks will be wearing exclusive one-of-a-kind breast cancer awareness jerseys, which will be available for purchase during a silent auction at the game. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 raffle, decorated bras to vote for, a bra pong game and “toy toss” in which toys can be purchased for $1 and tossed onto the rink when the Ice Hawks score their first goal.

Last season, these fundraising efforts raised over $4000 in support of breast cancer survivors—and all while enjoying a great game of hockey!
