In Memory of Mark Kersting
The Ice Hawks lost a friend and loyal fan this past week. Mark Kersting was a most visible and enthusiastic super fan.  He was a a diehard fan who was a friend to everyone in the Ice Hawks family. We will honor his memory on Friday with a brief ceremony and a moment of silence. His family will be in attendance and we will drape his Ice Hawks jersey (the black practice jersey he wore to every game) at the place in the stands where he usually sat so he will be with us. Mark was a friend to all of the Hawks family. Players, coaches, staff and fellow fans have many stories about his kindness and caring. Mark was always eager to help . Just a week before his death, he reached out to help another fan who was in need. He loved the Hawks and his fellow fans. We will miss Mark. We send our sincerest sympathies and condolences to his family and are pleased that they are with us to honor our friend Mark.
