Ice Hawks News
The Hawks ended the first part of the season with a resounding win on day 3 pf the NA3HL Showcase in Blaine, MN. Spencer Hadacek had a hat trick as the Ice Hawks scored 7 goals. Hadacek’s big game helped earn him Central Division Player of the week honors. Congratulations to Spencer who is having an excellent season.

Injuries- Willie Meyer who last played in September, is finally back on skates. He practiced this week in pads but had no contact. He likely needs another week to two weeks for rehab before he returns to action. Unfortunately, the medial news for Johnny Zwarych is not so good. He has decided that given the medical advice given him, it is time to step away from playing hockey. After extensive evaluation at Mayo Sports Medicine, he decided it was time to move on with other aspects of his life. Johnny loves hockey and his teammates and will miss playing the game as much as we will miss watching him. The Ice Hawks wish him all the best and hope to see him in attendance at games.
