Ice Hawks Update: Weekend of Nov. 17&18 vs No. Iowa Bulls

This weekend features a home and away series with the North Iowa Bulls.  The Bulls are among the very best teams in the NA3HL.  Coach Todd Sanden has the high flying Bulls entering the weekend as 13-0-3,  the only remaining NA3HL team without a loss in regulation play.

Game Preview
Todd Sanden’s squad are in second place in Central Division behind the LaCrosse Freeze.  The Freeze are in 1st place by virtue of playing four more games and winning three of those.   Bulls players to watch-  leading scorers:    #14 Tyler Bump (10g, 18a- 28 pts); #23 Cameron Fagerlee (9g,15a- 24 pts); #3 Josh Arnold (10g, 13a- 23 pts); #6 Brendan Studioso (10g, 13a- 23 pts)    top goalie(s): # 33 Colin Cain (2.48 gaa, 91.5 sav%).

Ice Hawks News-
Injury Update- Defenseman Trevor Witthus who has missed several games is unlikely to see action this weekend.  Forward Jake Beal suffered a concussion in LaCrosse and is out as well.  Forward Jackson Kranebell was injured in New Ulm and is out for this weekend with a leg injury.  The players are being evaluated/treated at the Mayo Sports Medicine Center.

Thanks to Craig Ugland for his efforts in coordinating the Military Appreciation Night activities.  Fans loved the special jerseys and the night was a charitable  financial success.  Military families enjoyed the game, skating party and pizza provided by ‘Beyond the Yellow Ribbon’.
