Ethan Sievek’s Exciting Two Weeks:  Four Games in the NAHL & Selection to Top Prospects Tournament team!
Defenseman Ethan Sievek (#28) has had an eventful couple of weeks!  First he was called up to play four games with the Bismarck Bobcats of the NAHL.  Then he was named to play with the Gold team in this season’s Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth, MI.
Sievek has returned following his four game’ look’ by the Bismarck Bobcats.  He played well in the two weekends with the Bobcats.  Sievek appeared in four games versus Brookings Blizzard and Aberdeen Wings. During that time he practiced during the week with the Ice Hawks but traveled to play in the games on the weekends.  Sievek, a senior attending high school in Rochester, has had to juggle a very hectic schedule.  His play put him on the Bobcat’s radar for next season.  He has returned to the Ice Hawks for the remainder of the season.
Within a couple of days of his full time return, he is again recognized by the NA3HL.

From the league press release
“The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced the rosters for the 2017 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament, which will be held from February 27-28 at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament is played in conjunction with the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) Top Prospects Tournament. The event has quickly become one of the most highly-scouted events of its kind, with hundreds of junior, NCAA and NHL expected in attendance this season.”
Sievek is selected to play for the Gold Team.  Fans can follow him by watching games on Hockey TV.  The Hawks are excited for Ethan and wish him success throughout the Tournament!
