Junior Hockey: Freeze offer big test for Ice Hawks

The Rochester Ice Hawks finally snapped their losing streak last weekend, and this weekend they'll attempt to start a winning streak.

It won't be easy, though. The Ice Hawks are set to square off against the La Crosse Freeze for the first time this season. The home-and-away series opens Friday at La Crosse and then returns to Rochester at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at the Recreation Center.

The Freeze are one of the league's top teams. At 11-3-0, they are in second place in the NA3HL's Central Division.

The Ice Hawks enter the weekend with a 4-9-0 record.
