Junior hockey: Ice Hawks held off by Stars goalie

The Rochester Ice Hawks threw everything they could at Magnus Linde in the third period Friday night, but the Breezy Point goalie stopped it all.

Linde made 23 saves, including 15 in the third period as the North Stars defeated the Ice Hawks 4-1 in a North American 3 Hockey League game at the Rochester Recreation Center.

Breezy Point never trailed, taking a 1-0 lead when Alec Hooper scored 4:33 into the second period.

Former Rochester John Marshall standout Hunter Heightland tied the score just more than five minutes later on a goal assisted by Colby DeCarlo and fellow JM grad Nick Paulson.
