Junior hockey: Ice Hawks lose fourth straight

The Rochester Ice Hawks' losing streak has reached four games after a decisive 7-1 loss to the visiting La Crosse Freeze on Friday night at the Rochester Rec Center.

La Crosse took a 2-0 lead in the first quarter and blew it open with four goals in the third. Rochester's record dipped to 7-17-0 and the Ice Hawks are fourth place in the five-team NA3HL Central Division with 14 points.

Dominik Bodgzuil scored Rochester's only goal in the second period, with Colby DeCarlo and Daylon De Souza on the assist. Goalie Kyle Plantz was busy with 44 saves on 51 shots.
