Poor second period costs Ice Hawks

The Rochester Ice Hawks continued their skid in North American Tier 3 Hockey League play on Friday as they dropped an 8-2 decision to the Twin City Steel at the Rochester Recreation Center.

The Ice Hawks have now lost seven straight games and a just 10-29-1 this season.

Friday's game was scoreless after one period and then the Ice Hawks had a disastrous middle stanza. The Twin City Steel scored seven goals in the second period, by seven different players, to take a 7-1 lead.
