The Ice Hawks fall to the Whalers 5-3

The Rochester Ice Hawks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Wisconsin Whalers 37 shots throughout the game. The Wisconsin Whalers took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Nick Rogers.

Trevor Timm did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Matthew Shupert contributed with 2 assists. Carter Grobstick delivered for his team with 2 goals and Nick Rogers chipped in with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first, Moots opened the scoring for the Ice Hawks with a goal at 9:46 with helpers from his linemates, Roach and Renn. Timm netted a goal at 15:16 with helpers from his linemates, Shupert and Smits. Watt deposited a goal at 17:28 with assists from his linemates, Timm and Shupert.

Rogers deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:40 with assists from Mcdermott and Hefty. Grobstick put in a goal at 14:12 with assists from his linemates, Mcdermott and Rogers.
