The Ice Hawks recorded a shutout against the Blizzard 11-0 in home game

Kyle Hayden posted a shutout, stopping all 15 of the Rochester Ice Hawks shots throughout the game. The Alexandria Blizzard took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Brett Meister and never looked back.

Dylan Giorgio chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Josiah Roen delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Meister opened the scoring for Alexandria with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:06 with helpers from his linemates, Renn and Lindgren. Meister put in a goal at 18:58 with helpers from his linemates, Nelson and Payne.
