The Ice Hawks recorded a shutout against the Blizzard 5-0 in home game

Tyler Thompson posted a shutout, stopping all 18 of the Rochester Ice Hawks shots throughout the game. The Alexandria Blizzard took the lead early in the first on a goal from Caleb Anderson and never looked back. Caleb Anderson delivered for his team with 2 goals and Brenden Payne had a busy night with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
In the first period, Anderson opened the scoring for Alexandria with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:57 with helpers from his teammates Mellstrom and Lucas. Meyer deposited a goal at 11:02 with an assist from defenseman Nilson.
During the second, Payne scored a goal at 8:57 with a helper from defenseman Cernohous. Anderson netted a goal at 18:08 with an assist from fellow Blizzard forward Payne.
In the third, Scanlon put in a goal at 14:38 with a helper from Lucas.
