The Ice Hawks struggled against the Blizzard 7-3 in home game

The Rochester Ice Hawks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Alexandria Blizzard 27 shots throughout the game. The Alexandria Blizzard took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Riley Scanlon.

Josh Hoffman contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Evan Burke delivered for his team with 2 assists. Logan Nelson chipped in with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Brett Meister had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

Frerichs answered for Alexandria with a goal at 5:26 with helpers from his teammates Meister and Johnson. Skar deposited a goal at 13:26 with assists from Nelson and Giorgio.

In the third, Nelson answered for the Blizzard with a goal at 0:09 with helpers from Johnson and Skar. Hoffman answered for Rochester with a goal at 4:23 with assists from Dulong and Bucklin. Meister answered for Alexandria with a goal at 7:54 with helpers from his linemates, Payne and Frerichs.
