The Ice Hawks struggled against the Whalers 7-2 in home game

The Rochester Ice Hawks struggled against the Wisconsin Whalers allowing Nick Rogers to score a hat trick as Rochester crushed Wisconsin 7-2 in a home game at Rochester Recreation Center in Rochester. Moreover, the Ice Hawks' defense had a poor night, allowing the Whalers 40 shots throughout the game. The Wisconsin Whalers took the lead early in the second on a goal from Dan Lienemann.
